Christian J. Manabat
is an Industrial Designer based in Denver, CO.

As a product and user experience designer, I aim to make products that are efficient, intuitive and environmentally friendly. Studying industrial design at Georgia Institute of Technology provided me with a solid foundation in user research and human-centered design, but it was my time in Sweden at Lund University that really broadened my design perspective. I was inspired by the Scandinavian design principles with their focus on simplicity, functionality, and sustainability.

Working closely with engineers throughout every project is crucial for me. I believe that a good product not only looks attractive but also functions seamlessly within its intended context. This collaborative approach ensures that my designs are not just aesthetically pleasing but also practical and reliable.

Outside of designing, I keep busy with hobbies like rock climbing, pottery, and cooking. I love experimenting in the kitchen, and perfecting my cacio e pepe technique. Exploring different cultures through food and activities keeps me inspired and helps me bring fresh perspectives to my design work.
